Rosoku Leisure Products Candle Care & Safety

Enjoy and importantly be safe

Please take note of the advice given here concerning the care for your candle and use of the candle in your home.

Every candle we sell comes with a safety booklet and instructions. The candles we supply also have a safely label on the base.

Always keep a naked flame away from any flammable materials and

out of reach of children and pets

Our scented candles and wax melts are made using 100% Soy Wax. We want you to get the most out of your candle and for your home to be filled with beautiful aromas, giving an air of luxury to you,

your family and guests.

Before lighting remove all packaging and read the safety label.

Only burn on a level surface and never leave it unattended or near flammable materials.

Keep away from children and pets and any draught.

When you light your candle make sure it is allowed to burn out to the edge of the glass before extinguishing. If it only burns for a short while it will cause tunnelling, spoiling the candle by burning downwards and not outwards. It is recommended you do not burn your candle for less than 3 hours, but no more than 4 hours.

Trim your wick to ¼ of an inch after each burn. This helps to create a clean, even burn and limits soot. If your candle does soot, simply extinguish and leave to cool, then wipe the interior glass with a clean damp cloth and trim the wick.

Do not move candles when they are burning.

An efficient burning means flame is not flickering, is teardrop shaped and standing upright.

If you candle begins to smoke, flicker or the candle flame becomes too high; extinguish your candle at once. These signs indicate the candle is not burning properly and the flame isn't controlled. Let your candle cool, trim the wick, then check for draughts before re-lighting.

Maximise your scent throw by keeping windows and doors closed. For maximum fragrance keep your environment closed up, light your candle and burn in desired space for 30 mins before entering.

Always store your candle in a cool, dark and dry place.

Avoid placing your candle where it will be directly exposed to sunlight or harsh indoor lighting, such as a spotlight. Exposure to elements may cause discolouring of your candle.

Stop using your candle when 1cm wax remains as glass may shatter.
